Napa Technology makes multiple WineStation models and the differences matter depending on your space, budget, and how you use wine. This comparison covers every residential model available through Luxury Wine Appliances — with verified specs and honest recommendations for each buyer type.
✓ What All WineStation Models Share
Every WineStation uses the same core technology: Clean-Pour® dispensing heads (no internal tubing, contamination-free), WineGas™ argon preservation (60-day freshness per Napa Technology specification), and programmable pour sizes (0.25oz – 9oz, 3 sizes per bottle position). The differences between models are in display type, bottle capacity, storage, and footprint.

WineStation Pristine Plus Sommelier Edition
$6,995 (was $8,995) + $120/yr
Premium Display
Best for: Regular entertainers · Luxury home bars · Buyers who want the full presentation
Display
Full-colour touchscreen
Identical preservation and dispensing hardware to the Pristine Plus. The only difference is the display: instead of individual LCD panels, you get a single full-colour customisable touchscreen showing wine name, tasting notes, vintage, grape variety, and food pairings per bottle. If you entertain and want the unit to be part of the experience — not just a functional appliance — this is worth the premium. Factor the $120/year software fee into your decision.

WineStation Duet

Compact 2-Bottle
Best for: Couples · Small spaces · Single varietal enthusiasts
Preservation
60 days argon
The Duet is the most compact WineStation — 2-bottle capacity in a smaller countertop footprint. Same Clean-Pour® technology and WineGas™ argon preservation as the Pristine Plus. If 4 bottles is more than you'll realistically keep open at once and counter space is limited, the Duet is the right entry point. Contact us or see our dedicated
WineStation Duet review.

Which Model Should You Buy?
Most buyers: Pristine Plus. 4 bottles, 60-day argon, countertop or built-in, no ongoing fee. If you're building a home bar, this is where to start.
Regular entertainers who want the display: Sommelier Edition. Only choose this if the touchscreen wine-description experience matters to you and you're prepared for the $120/year fee. The preservation is identical to the Pristine Plus.
Serious collectors who need storage: Cellar. Only choose this if you have 40+ bottles and want storage and dispensing in one unit with permanent floor space available. Don't order this with a two-week deadline — it's a 6–8 week lead time.
Small spaces or couples: Duet. 2-bottle capacity at a smaller footprint. Contact us for current pricing and availability.
